Paola Vallarino, IEP CBS IBCLC
INTERNATIONALLY EDUCATED PHYSICIAN. NUTRITIONIST. LACTATION CONSULTANT. SLEEP & WELLBEING SPECIALIST.
Paola is an Internationally Educated Physician specializing in Breastfeeding & Lactation Medicine. As a mother herself, her own breastfeeding challenges inspired her to dedicate her career to helping families achieve their feeding goals with confidence and compassionate, evidence-based care. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS), and is currently completing the prestigious LILAC Fellowship (Lessons in Lactation Advanced Curriculum) at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York.
She also holds Diplomas in Pediatric Nutrition and Perinatal & Pediatric Clinical Nutrition, she’s a Certified Sleep & Wellbeing Specialist and has advanced training in Infant Feeding, Oral Habilitation, Low Milk Supply, Pumping & Feeding Gear, Infant Craniosacral Therapy, Baby-Led Weaning, and Pediatric Sleep. In her practice, she collaborates closely with both pediatricians and pediatric dentists to ensure comprehensive care for her patients. She provides families with feeding support when breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing and with solid foods.
Passionate about education, Paola has mentored more than 25 aspiring IBCLCs, helping shape the next generation of lactation professionals. As a licensed physician, she offers telemedicine services for patients residing in Mexico. As an IBCLC, she provides lactation consultations for families in Toronto, across Canada and around the world. Fluent in English and Spanish, she's based in Uptown/Midtown Toronto.
For Paola, every family is special, and giving them compassionate, judgement-free support by working on their unique feeding goals is her number one priority.
